We are excited to announce that Dr. Nereida Henderson has been appointed Program Director of Caregiver Training Institute (CTI)!
Dr. Henderson has been a cornerstone of the Bryan University’s Nursing Assistant Certificate program since joining the institution in March 2024. In that time, she led the development of the program’s curriculum, oversaw lab setup, and secured approval from the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
In her new role as Program Director at CTI, Dr. Henderson will continue to guide the strategic growth and development of caregiver training initiatives under the CTI umbrella. She brings over 30 years of nursing experience, along with more than five years of dedicated teaching experience and a deep commitment to hands-on healthcare education and student success.
“When they’re happy, I’m happy. I love to be the first person that they call and say I did it! I passed!” she said. “It’s an exhilarating feeling, and I love having it. I feel that when they win, the school wins. I win. The teachers win. We all win together.”
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Henderson on this well-deserved appointment! We look forward to the continued growth of Caregiver Training Institute under her leadership.
