Graveyard Shift Med-Aid
Cherry Blossom Cottage is a small residential care facility looking for a med-aid. The hours vary, but are generally 4 on 4 off.
Duties include, but aren’t limited to:
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Complete report with day shift med-aid
- Review change of condition and alert charting
- Count narcotics
- Check QUICKMAR for any alerts, MUST BE ABLE TO USE A COMPUTER
- Assist caregivers as needed
- Answer duplicate calls
- Go through inventory to remove expired meds and supplies
- Check refrigerator temperatures and document
- Weekly check glucometer specifications and document
- Sanitize desks, med carts, cupboards and all surfaces
- Restock med carts
- Order and/or reorder any medications that need to be refilled
- Document incidents
- Complete any unfinished physician’s orders, or new orders that come in during your shift
- Prepare paperwork for next day doctor’s appointments
- Complete any lab work documents needed and/or collect specimens
- Follow up on any task left by the previous med-aid
