Personal Care Assistant
- Must be at least 18 years of age;
- Have a passion to care for our aging population
- 1 year documented experience caring for seniors (this can include personal experience if documented)
- Verifiable work and/or professional references,
- Pass an employer paid physical, drug screening and criminal background check
- Have valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
- Are compassionate, mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
Personal Care Assistant must be able to perform:
- Assist clients according to their service plan, which may include: companionship, meal preparation and service, light housekeeping, transportation, shopping, medication reminders and assistance, bathing, body care, dressing, feeding, ambulation, positioning, transferring, toileting and protective supervision;
- Complete onsite training, in-services and shadowing shifts competently
- Notifying the Regional Care Coordinator of client concerns
- Notifying the Regional Care Coordinator and/or Scheduler of any concerns;
- Accurately and completely filling out the client time/visit records and submitting it
- Conforming to the company dress code policy and professional appearance is highly desired
- Completing ongoing training as required by regulation, client care needs and/or changes in company policies and procedures;
InTouch at Home starts our staff at $10.50 per hour and pay a set rate for 24 hour shifts without deducting sleep time if sleep is allowed by client. We offer annual raises and quarterly bonus opportunity as well as referral bonuses. We provided care to high end clients who expect quality staff and staff professionalism.
